Network Engineer needed by IDRIL Services Corporation in Shiremanstown, PA to design, configure, setup, and deploy of functional networks. Duties include engage in capacity planning, switches, routers, and other network devices and monitoring tools like Solar Winds, Cisco Prime, Wireshark tools; implementing and troubleshooting complex layer 2 technologies such as VLAN trunks, VTP, Ether-channel, STP, RSTP, PVST, and MST; Remote access support solution support; VPN, terminal services, Citrix, Sprint and AT&T networks; configuring network tools to monitor and work to resolve Node alerts and notifications through Solar Winds; monitor network performance and integrity, as layer 3 routing and layer 2 switching resolve issues tiers of support have escalated; create, oversee, and test security measures, firewall rules, F5 load balancers (e.g. access authentication); participate in the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system; update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review; configure and troubleshoot VOIP technologies; document maintenance for all projects and network infrastructure with sharepoint integration; communication with business departments as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages; suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability; provide technical services and support for the following areas: network level, WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, Cisco switches and routers, and firewalls, cloud interfacing firms and network infrastructure.

Minimum requirements for entry into the position: Requires a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in information systems, electrical engineering, engineering or closely related and 1 YEAR of experience in the job offered or 1 YEAR of experience in Solar Winds, Cisco Prime, and Wireshark tools; Implementing and troubleshooting complex Layer 2 technologies such as VLAN trunks, VTP, Ether-channel, STP, RSTP, PVST, and MST; VPN, terminal-services, Citrix, Sprint and AT&T Networks; CISCO Switches and routers; Wireless LAN controllers; Routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF.
